In the past, until rooting become popular, many phones were designed with strong protections and restricted access. For instance, Droid X. However, those devices too had some loopholes to root them.

Android rooting can be simple or complex. There are many programs available to make rooting a simple and successful one.

While rooting is beneficial, there are a few disadvantages to it. Inappropriate rooting may sometime make the device unusable, like a brick. In addition, rooting your device immediately voids the warranty of your phone. You will not be able to get the warranty to your device.
